TAHAI Portal / Web engineering note

A cinematic front door.
A usable website underneath.

A multi-project gateway that connects operational platforms, software, and public-interest engineering.

01 / The brief

The first impression matters.

The portal is designed as a front door to the TAHAI ecosystem. A cinematic visual layer introduces the brand while readable content and direct navigation explain where to go next.

The accompanying build preview shows the gateway’s visual design and its direct routes into the ecosystem.

02 / The delivery problem

Motion should not become a gate.

A background film needs reliable media delivery, an immediate poster, visible playback controls, and a layout that leaves the content usable. Desktop and mobile compositions have different constraints.

The portal project and this personal site share that design intent. Their release packages are separate; updating one does not deploy the other.

03 / The larger pattern

Treat the presentation like engineering.

Navigation, HTML content, asset paths, media behavior, and deployment configuration all need to agree. A visually impressive page is still a system that someone has to maintain.

The result is a clearer route into a broad body of work: see the purpose, understand the project, and follow the relevant evidence.

A conversation is a good place to start.
